SWYAA members attended a tribute to traditional Japanese art of origami (paper folding) and followed a workshop by Ms. Sonoko Fujii, origami master on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 in the Embassy of Japan in Athens.

“In Memoriam” - Exhibition of Japanese traditional art Ikebana

The Greek Association of Ikebana of Ohara School (Japan) has organized an exhibition of Japanese traditional art Ikebana “In Memoriam” of the victims lost by the tragedy in Japan and as a gesture of sympathy by the Greeks towards to the Japanese People . The IKEBANA-OHARA arrangements, as offer, of the members of the Ohara Chapter accompany their condolences.

The exhibition took place at the Cultural center “Benetatou”- P. Psychico on Wednesday, 18 May 2011 under the shield of the Embassy of Japan in Athens, opening hours: 18.00-21.00.
